Meet Alice, our founder
Hi, I'm Alice.
I'm a qualified primary teacher with a specialism in Early Years, and I’ve been teaching for 10 years. I absolutely love seeing the learning journey children embark on as they learn and master new skills.
When I’m not busy planning my next all singing all dancing activity box idea I’m out in the fields with my flock of sheep and my dog Meg.
I started Primrose and Petal as a way of bringing high-quality, teacher-planned activities into homes across the UK. We all know how busy life can be, and I saw this as the perfect opportunity to provide ready-made activities for children without parents having to worry about any resourcing. Everything you need is provided in the box, except for a pair of scissors.

At Primrose and Petal, our craft boxes are specifically designed to support children's fine motor skill development, encourage creativity through expressive art and design, and allow children's imagination and confidence to grow as they enjoy the activities they take part in. We believe in providing engaging and educational experiences that truly make a difference in a child's development.
Who are our activity boxes for?
Our activity boxes are designed for children aged 3-8 and are perfect for all sorts of occasions. They are ideal for homeschooling, quality family time together, or simply as the perfect activity to keep little hands busy during the day. We endeavour to provide engaging activities that promote learning, creativity, and allow children to develop at their own pace..
